Meet Remo

Since founding the company in 2015 with his daughter, Emily, Remo has been the heart of its operations, blending Swiss precision with a deep love for adventure.  With over 30 years of experience in the flooring industry, you’d think he was born with a tape measure in one hand and a flooring sample in the other—but surprise!  Remo is actually a chef and baker by trade—flooring is a great backup plan when you’ve perfected breadmaking.

Remo is also a proud family man.  He and his wife, Laurie, have three daughters—Emily, Hanna, and Rachel—who keep life full, fun, and always moving.

When he’s not keeping things running smoothly at work, you’ll find Remo outdoors, fully embracing his adventurous side.  Whether it’s hiking, biking, rafting, paddle boarding, kayaking, or camping, if it involves fresh air and wide-open spaces, he’s in.  His ultimate bucket-list item is hiking Patagonia—a dream that sounds like the perfect excuse for more epic stories and Instagram-worthy photos.

Remo grew up in Aarwangen, Switzerland, so nature has always been a way of life for him.  These days, you’re likely to spot him out in nature or recharging with positive human connection, which he calls one of life’s essentials.

Remo’s philosophy is as inspiring as his lifestyle: "View every situation from different standpoints—there’s more than one way to look at something."  Whether he’s troubleshooting a project or planning his next adventure, Remo brings this perspective to everything he does.
